Praveen Kumar is an SEO and digital strategy consultant based in Chennai, India, and the Founder & Chief Decision Maker at Wild Creek Web Studio. With more than 20 years in digital marketing, he has worked with over 100 clients across multiple industries and markets. He is the author of three books, the creator of free WordPress tools, and the curator of Human Algorithm, the framework used at Wild Creek to combine AI efficiency with human judgment. He was named among The Economic Times Top Business Leaders in 2024. Wild Creek Web Studio received SEO Agency of the Year, India recognition in 2023, 2024 and 2025.

How I work

I founded Wild Creek Web Studio, where I work on SEO, digital strategy and performance marketing. A good part of my job is helping businesses work out what deserves their time and budget.

Over the years, I have worked with more than 100 clients in India and overseas. Outside client work, I write books, build tools for website owners, and teach and speak about digital marketing.

Human Algorithm is the framework we use at Wild Creek. AI can help with the work, but it cannot decide what matters to a business. That still calls for context, experience and human judgment.

At Wild Creek Web Studio, Human Algorithm is the framework we use when working with AI. It helps us decide what to automate, what to question and which decisions need a person who understands the context.

We also take these conversations beyond client work. The first Human Algorithm event was held at IIT Madras Research Park on 25 July 2025, with discussions about how people and AI can work together.
